Album Stream: Carl Barât and the Jackals’ Debut album “Let It Reign”

We’ve been telling you about Carl Barât’s (the Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things), upcoming first album with the Jackals for a while, Let It Reign drops on February 23rd via Cooking Vinyl/Grand Jury Music.
In anticipation of its release, the GATRS have the full album stream below.

The 11-track album follows the release of Carl Barât’s 2010 self-titled debut and we can’t forget the announcement of an impending Libertines reunion.
The work on Let it Reign originally started as a solo effort, realizing he needed some company, he enlisted a troupe of musicians with online ads. Carl says he insisted on working with people he didn’t know to avoid any baggage or jadedness.

They’re proper young bloods, they’re so into it, the passion and the lifestyle,” Barât says of the new band in an interview with The Guardian. “That’s why I didn’t get mates in. The drummer has only left England once — he was playing in a wedding band in Swindon!
