Album Stream: Karen O “Live From Crush Palace”

Before her solo debut of Crush Songs, Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O booked a three-night residency at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery’s Masonic Lodge in Los Angeles last September. Now, the audio recordings from those intimate shows have surfaced in the form of a new live album, Live From Crush Palace, which is out via Julian Casablancas’ record label, Cult Records.

Stream the live album in its entirety via Spotify.

The 17-track effort features Where The Wild Things Are highlight Hideaway and The Moon Song, Karen O’s Grammy-and Oscar-nominated duet (with Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig) to the film Her.

Karen also released a new 7” for Rapt, on a gorgeous pink vinyl just in time for Valentine’s Day. It features art by Karen O and a customizable Valentine’s Day card—it’s out now on Cult Records.
You can listen to the B-side, which is a remix of Rapt by TRZTN below.

You can download it digitally or via Cult which is available on CD, LP, download, and cassette on the cult store.

Most important thing to know about me is that I'm a melomaniac and shameless fangirl. I am addicted to concerts, they are my sanctuary and safe haven. When I'm on the front row on the barricade of a concert... I feel that I am truly home. I'm also a proud and happy vinyl crate-digger. Whether it's searching for vinyl at flea markets, garage sales, vintage shops... I am a sucker for the crackling of a good record when the needle drops on a turntable. I am a true Cancer with Moon in Cancer and ascending in Pisces. Also, loves dogs (especially my son Elvis) and quality food porn pictures. Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook: @youthquakermimi
