Alessia Cara Covers Drake’s “Hotline Bling”

Not only is The Weeknd dropping his much anticipated new album on August 28th but mark your calendars because it’s the same day Alessia Cara is releasing her debut EP, Four Pink Walls.
Alessia Cara is a young tour de force, her voice is hauntingly gorgeous and I cannot get enough of her. She recently returned to her roots as a Youtube cover artist by singing a version of Drake’s Hotline Bling for Australian television which is probably now one of my favorite Drake covers. (Arctic Monkeys currently still hold the spot for number 1 cover for now anyway, watch that cover here.)

Alessia Cara released her song Here and fellow introverts that went to parties everywhere rejoiced, plus her track became an instant sensation.. She landed a New York Times Profile and her song was played heavily by Beats 1 radio during the station’s first week of existence. Check out her debut song and tracklist of her debut ep below.

Four Pink Walls:
01. “Seventeen”
02. “Here”
03. “Outlaws”
04. “I’m Yours”
05. “Four Pink Walls”

Four Pink Walls is out August 28th via Def Jam.
