Album Review: Bombay Bicycle Club- So Long See You Tomorrow

Bombay Bicycle Club’s fourth album, produced by front man Jack Steadman, has reached number one on the U.K. album charts.

The album is infused with influences from Steadman’s travels throughout India, Japan, and Turkey.
Instead of relying heavy on guitar riffs, So Long See You Tomorrow employs instruments and beats from these regions. The band still manages to hold on to the BBC sound, mainly due to Steadman’s  distinctive, cool soft voice, but seems to pull away from the typical Indie Rock sound.

Playful, fun, delightful and simple, So Long See You Tomorrow is a great listen.

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc, I'm an avid vinyl lover and I have the receipts to prove it.
