Yes. You read that headline right. Carly Rae Jepsen, who famously sang “Call Me Maybe,” which we finally got out of our heads, is recording with Dev Hynes (Blood Orange) and Ariel Rechtshaid.

Ariel previously in Foreign Born, contributed to co-writing and producing to Charli XCX’s True Romance, co-wrote Usher’s Climax, produced both Haim’s Days Are Gone and Vampire Weekend’s Modern Vampires of the City, and plenty more.
Dev, aka Blood Orange, contributing to Florence & the Machine, Kyle Minogue, and many more.
Both Dev and Ariel teamed up previously for Sky Ferreira’s Everything Is Embarrassing and Solange’s Losing You.

Now Dev and Ariel are teaming up once again to work with Carly Rae Jepsen, as Carly’s instagram points out. “Recorded one of my fav songs today with – @devhynes and @arielrechtshaid”.

The most important thing to know about me is that I'm a melomaniac and shameless fangirl. I am addicted to concerts, they are my sanctuary and safe haven. When I'm on the front row on the barricade of a concert... I feel that I am truly home. I'm also a proud and happy vinyl crate-digger. Whether it's searching for vinyl at flea markets, garage sales, vintage shops... I am a sucker for the crackling of a good record when the needle drops on a turntable. I am a true Cancer with Moon in Cancer and ascending in Pisces. Also, loves dogs (especially my son Elvis) and quality food porn pictures. Social Media: @youthquakermimi
