After some teasing, Ezra Furman has named his new project. The Visions (which are made up of Sam, Jorgen, Ben, and Tim) has been announced via Instagram with the caption “Buckle up here we go.” We’re still not sure if it’s a renaming of Furman’s band The Boy-Friends (which is still the same lineup) or if it’s the name of a new LP that’s supposed to be “coming soon.” There was a RIP The Boy-Friends post on their Instagram so we’re speculating and either way, we’ll keep you posted because we’re still enamored with Ezra Furman and The Boy-Friends. Watch the ‘bloody’ teaser below.

The Boy-Friends released their debut Day of the Dog in 2013 and followed up with Perpetual Motion People in 2015. Revist one of our favorite videos below.

The most important thing to know about me is that I'm a melomaniac and shameless fangirl. I am addicted to concerts, they are my sanctuary and safe haven. When I'm on the front row on the barricade of a concert... I feel that I am truly home. I'm also a proud and happy vinyl crate-digger. Whether it's searching for vinyl at flea markets, garage sales, vintage shops... I am a sucker for the crackling of a good record when the needle drops on a turntable. I am a true Cancer with Moon in Cancer. Social Media: @youthquakermimi
