FIDLAR’s newest album, Too, is finally released next month and it’s the follow-up to their self-titled debut back in 2013. We’ve already heard 40 Oz. On Repeat, West Coast, and Drone and by listening to those tracks, I can tell that Too will not disappoint. We love the guys and their goofball charm, plus their rambunctious and high-energy shows leave you dripping in sweat.. Which is a clear sign of a good time at a concert but the guys also have some more “grown up” songs. Their newest song, Leave Me Alone is a song inspired by Zac Carper’s intervention from crack, heroin, and meth but it has the classic vigorous and raucous FIDLAR style. As he told Stereogum..
“It’s a pretty fucked-up tune,” he said. “It’s just about telling people to leave you alone … and then, if you tell people that enough, eventually they will leave you alone. Then you’re alone.”
