Foals Cover Florence and the Machine’s “What Kind of Man”

Foals stopped by Clara Amfo’s mid-morning show on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge. It was rescheduled from a previously booked appearance that was postponed due to frontman Yannis Philippakis losing his voice temporarily but luckily Yannis seems to be well with his voice executing the song perfectly. The band performed a cover of Florence and the Machine’s What Kind of Man, the song starts at the 1:12 mark and at one point, they mash it up with their own What Went DownThe cover is dark and grim, very animalistic and fitting of their latest album’s sound.

What Went Down is out now via WB Music.
