Aaron Taos is the end results of what happens when someone who almost exclusively listens to hip-hop and then makes an indie rock album. The 23 year old New Haven bred and Brooklyn based songwriter/producer seamlessly infuses catchy beats, harmonious melodies, strong lyrical composition, and distinct instrumental track-spacing.
Drawing upon influences from indie rock, hazy vintage favorites such as Neutral Milk Hotel, The Beatles, and The Beach Boys then mix in some and melodic tendencies from his influences of some new-school Hip/Hop infusion such as Young Thug, A$AP Rocky, and Future.. It surely an interesting concoction. Aaron previously shared his video for Ill but get to know a bit more about him.
His forthcoming and self-produced EP, GUITS, finds its foundation in short catchy structures garnished with buoyant guitar notes and vocals that float with unique clarity amidst the rest of the track’s instrumentation. Aaron Taos’s sound is an ever-evolving, genre-fusing flow of melodies that bring you back to memories of restless hazy nights.
