Get to Know: Catfish and The Bottlemen

Doing my thing on the internet a few weeks ago, what ever my thing is, I came across this band. Since then they have slowly been making regular appearances on my iPod.  I am talking about the North Wales band Catfish and the Bottlemen.

They have only been playing together for little under 2 years but already they have signed with Communion Records in the U.K. and are touring some of the cities there. Catfish and the Bottlemen consist of Van McCann, Johnny “Bondy” Bond, Benji Blakeway, and Robert “Bob” Hall. If you like guitar music, this is the band for you.

On June 17th they released their first single Homesick and earlier this week premiered yet another single Rango on the Zane Smith show. Have a listen and then check out the links below for more information on them. You can order either single on iTunes or a copy on vinyl at Communion Records, but you better hurry if you are a vinyl junkie, Homesick has already sold out. (These guys cant be all bad, they were recently spotted enjoying an Arctic Monkeys concert from backstage.)

About Teri (712 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc, I'm an avid vinyl lover and I have the receipts to prove it.
