Get to Know SXSW Band of the Week: Fizzy Blood

Fizzy Blood are a five-piece rock band from Leeds made up of Paul, Benji, Jake, Ciaran, and Tim. From only forming in 2014, the band have already had some major successes in their career and have also gained a heavily loyal fanbase. They made their way across the pond for their first ever US shows at SXSW Music Festival which was a huge deal for the band to show loads of new people their music. Their most recent release is track Sweat and Sulphur which is a banging tune full of roaring bass and drums, raging guitar riffs, and catchy, piercing vocals. Sweat and Sulphur is one of my favorite tracks from the band, but we can’t forget about their well-received EP entitled Feast EP. The EP includes two of their singles, January Sun and Black Sheep and also features tracks Slither, Cue to Leave, Patience, and Queen of Hearts. Each song having the signature Fizzy Blood sound that everyone loves. The band have already been announced for several big festivals in the UK including Live At Leeds, Liverpool Sound City, and Long Division. The only way for this band is up, and they’re sure to make it big in the near future because they’re just that good. If you are in the UK, make sure you catch one of their shows this April.
