Kassassin Street “Hand in My Pocket”

Kassassin Street have been on our radar since we first heard Yeah it’s On last year, the band which includes Rowan Bastable (guitar, vocals), Tom Wells (bass, vocals), Andy Hurst (keys, samples), Ryan Hill (guitar, vocals), and Nathan Hill (drums) and the Portsmouth 5-piece have unveiled their politically charged first single of 2016, Hand in My Pocket– three minutes and fifteen seconds of punchy psych-pop ruminating on social injustice in a U.K. society under austerity.
Right from the start, the track is punchy and layered with sweet synths over a mesmerizing dance inducing beat.  Listen below.

The band are looking to continue to build on the name they made for themselves in 2015, when they played a the festival circuit which will continue into the 2016 season. Make sure to look out for Kassassin Street on tour, dates are below.
