Listen: Colour of Spring ” Echoes “

Shoegaze is my jam lately, I love the mellow, laid back feeling of it, like relaxing on a fluffy cloud as you float through the blue skies of summer. Colour of Spring  have released the perfect song for lazing about  with their new single Echoes.

Hailing from Leeds, Colour of Spring features, Shane Hunter (vocals, guitar), Robin Deione (guitar), Tom Gregory (bass), March Rochman (drums) and Charlie Addison (keys). They  have already attracted  praise from the online community including NME and The Line Of Best Fit.

Speaking about the new release, Bassist Tom Gregory had this to say:

“Echoes is about losing the innocence of youth. As you enter your teenage years you’re told to grow up and take responsibility and some of the beauty of childhood is gone. We probably spend a lot of time as adults trying to regain that side to us that we lose. Echoes is about how we each deal with this in our own funny way.”

Listen below:

Echoes,is the lead track from their self-titled EP out 23rd June via House of Love Records, and produced  by Matt Peel at Nave Studios, Leeds.
