Ezra Furman has unveiled the third single, Suck The Blood From My Wound, from his upcoming album Transangelic Exodus which is due 9th February on Bella Union. Furman has already previously shared Driving Down To L.A. and Love You So Bad.

Suck the Blood From My Wound begins with a dark seediness to it as if it was the muffled sounds of a horror movie from the ’70s. Furman spoke about the album’s narrative when he released Love You So Bad. Furman gives a little more insight with this new track “It’s a song with enough situational detail and imagery that it could be adapted into a film or a novel. Not that it necessarily should be. It started me writing a whole album about me and my illegal transangelic hospital-escapee partner running from a hostile government. All of my deepest concerns as an artist whirling into a bizarre dream of perpetual narrow escape.”

The most important thing to know about me is that I'm a melomaniac and shameless fangirl. I am addicted to concerts, they are my sanctuary and safe haven. When I'm on the front row on the barricade of a concert... I feel that I am truly home. I'm also a proud and happy vinyl crate-digger. Whether it's searching for vinyl at flea markets, garage sales, vintage shops... I am a sucker for the crackling of a good record when the needle drops on a turntable. I am a true Cancer with Moon in Cancer and ascending in Pisces. Also, loves dogs (especially my son Elvis) and quality food porn pictures. Social Media: @youthquakermimi
