London-based troubadour L.A.Salami is reminiscent of a mashup of Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix, chronicling personal struggles with politically and socially charged lyricism over blustering guitar riffs with a bluesy infusion but also have a garage rock sound that is enchanting.
L.A. Salami marks his return, with a brand new track that is provocatively named but aptly titled, Terrorism (The Isis Crisis). The new track aligns perfectly with the official animated video of underlying themes that we often see in the news for the bizarre and often alarming year that 2017. As Salami says succinctly; “I think the video and song are pretty self-explanatory. If it’s not, well, keywords to consider would be ‘irony,’‘hysteria’ and ‘consequence’.” Listen and watch below.
Last heard earlier this year with the release of his Lookman And The Bookmakers EP, he has been working on the follow-up to his well-received debut album, 2016’s Dancing With Bad Grammar.
