It was one of the first things [producer David Holmes] and I did on the first week of working together. I knew instantly that it was going to be the first single,” Gallagher said of Holy Mountain in a statement. The premiere track even features Paul Weller on organ, it’s the first from Gallagher’s newest album Who Built The Moon? which is due for release on November 24th, it’s the follow up to 2015’s Chasing Yesterday. Holy Mountain is a roaring and stellar with its cosmic grooves and unexpected psychedelia. Listen to it below.

Gallagher had this to say about the track, “it was one of the first things David and I did on the first week of working together. I knew instantly that it was going to be the first single. There’s so much joy in it. Until the day I die, it will be one of my favorite pieces of music that I’ve ever written. It sounds great live. My kids love it, my friends’ kids all love it and I am sure ‘the kids’ will love it.”

Who Built the Moon? drops November 24th. Gallagher and the High Flying Birds will embark on a North American tour in support of their new album in February 2018. View tour dates below and relive our night with Noel Gallagher in Chicago HERE.
