Raining Gold is the debut single/video by ARO (pronounced “arrow”) by Aimée Osbourne. The video is a beautiful piece of morbid cinematography. Directed by Spencer Susser, co-director of Lana Del Rey’s Summertime Sadness, the video centers around the aftermath of a bloody car crash and a diner. Aimée’s dulcet vocals are hauntingly beautiful mixed with slow simmering guitar riffs and throbbing beat that I cannot get enough of. Aimée told Rolling Stone….
“I wanted the song to touch on how overwhelming and isolating it feels to be constantly misunderstood and the importance of choosing to break free from that and just believing in yourself,” she told Rolling Stone.“It’s so valuable to always try and put yourself in someone else’s shoes. I hope this song reminds people of that.”
