The Pains of Being Pure at Heart recently announced The Echo of Pleasure last month, their new album that will also accompany their forthcoming summer tour. Now there’s a new single When I Dance With You.
The synth-heavy track evokes major ’80s-style pop vibes that’s reminiscent of Dancing With Myself. A Sunny Day in Glasgow’s Jen Goma even contributes harmonies to the track.
“It doesn’t look like a lot on paper,” Kip Berman says of the song to NPR, where the song premiered, “but the sentiment is the underpinning of what love is.” Listen below.

The Echo of Pleasure is due for release on July 14th.
