Song Of The Day: Misfires Come On Over

Come On Over is the newest release from Swindon’s Misfires. They have spent their first year as a band hard at work, capturing the attention of BBC Introducing and recently The Sherlocks, who they are supporting later this month. In between all of this, they have managed to write and record some damn good music.

Take a listen to Come On Over below:

Lead man Matt says about the new song:
“It is about a girl who never saw me for who I really was, but I loved her anyway”
The song starts with an intro of banging drums and rollicking guitars, leading into  Matt’s smokey voice as he delivers  well written , emotionally rich, lyrics. Lush layering of instruments will make Come On Over your feel good song of the late winter.
