Song of the Week: Jessie Jones “Lady La De Da”

Burger Records never disappoint. This week’s Song of the Week comes from a Burger Records artist, Jessie Jones to be exact. She manages to have that raspy, whiskey laden voiced but still sound sugary without the toothache on Lady La De Da. The track serves some 1960’s psychedelia with a meditating beat which was a bit of a surprise. It’s entrancing.
Jessie Jones is also in our musical crush, Death Valley Girls, so it’s no surprise we’re crazy about this transcended track. Listen below.

Jessie Jones is out 7/24 on Burger Records, you can preorder a physical copy here or via iTunes. If you order on vinyl, it’s white with blue haze, perfect for any collectors growing library.

The most important thing to know about me is that I'm a melomaniac and shameless fangirl. I am addicted to concerts, they are my sanctuary and safe haven. When I'm on the front row on the barricade of a concert... I feel that I am truly home. I'm also a proud and happy vinyl crate-digger. Whether it's searching for vinyl at flea markets, garage sales, vintage shops... I am a sucker for the crackling of a good record when the needle drops on a turntable. I am a true Cancer with Moon in Cancer and ascending in Pisces. Also, loves dogs (especially my son Elvis) and quality food porn pictures. Social Media: @youthquakermimi
