Spoon Covers the Cramps “TV Set” for the Poltergeist Soundtrack

The Cramps sound is a deranged, vicious raucous fusion of music and just about any band who knows how to emit that dark seedy sound have undoubtedly picked up some tricks from no other than Lux Interior and Poison Ivy.
Spoon stepped up and into the Cramps’ shoes for the Poltergeist soundtrack, sinking their teeth into the song, Spoon have recorded a cover of TV Set from the Cramps’ 1980 album Bad Music For Bad People. Although their rendition is a more clean and polished version, the intensity is still intact. Britt Daniel’s even managed to convey the same ominous hiccup that of Lux Interior, which is impressive.
