We have good news for you Tame Impala fans.
Spinning Top Music, the management company that deals with both Tame Impala and POND, released a email yesterday that read..
“There will be new albums from POND, Tame Impala, The Growl, Gunns and Fascinator as well as tours and shows a plenty from everyone across the Spinning Top roster”.
No other details about the album have been released, other than Spinning Top did say that the album is still very much a work in progress with no official release date but it’s definitely expected to drop sometime this year.
According to Jay Watson, while speaking to NME, the album they were currently working on would be “less rock again and more electronic.”
The album will be the third and follow up to the 2012 big hit Lonerism, which ranked high on most major Album Of The Year charts.
Besides working on a new album with Tame Impala, front man Kevin Parker has kept his self busy with several side projects, including recording with producer Mark Ronson.
