The GATRS Faves from Reading 2015

Sadly, we did not attend this years Reading festival but that sure as hell didn’t stop us from making sure we watched the performances. All we can say is thank you BBC for making it possible for us to watch some of our favorites kill it across the pond.
See our favorites below, did yours make the cut? If not, tell us some of your faves!

Foals were only announced a few hours beforehand and they took the surprise set and ran with it. Their ferocity was one of the best sets and with their incredible new album, What Went Down, the GATRS think it’s time America took notice.

The Libertines have been making quite the comeback, after appearances at Glastonbury, Rock en Seine,  Ibiza Rocks, and many others we are reminded why we love this fucking band so much. Their energy, their rapport, their music… The lads were the closers and we know why.. Just watch below and see.

Catfish and the Bottlemen have come a long way from handing out free cd’s at Kasabian gigs. We first fell for them back in 2013 and we knew they were something special, now they’re performing at Reading and Leeds.. We know that they’ll be headlining the festival in no time. Until then, enjoy this killer performance of Pacifier.

Wolf Alice have been on our radar and this grungy band has our heart. We can’t stop playing their latest album, My Love is Cool, on repeat and we’re looking forward to them on tour this coming fall.

We’ve been obsessing over Glass Animals for some time here at the GATRS. Their energy is mesmerizing and we cannot get enough of these guys. Watch them perform below.

Palma Violets are near and dear to our hearts, they’re the nicest lads with a ravenous amount of energy that it’s no surprise as to why they are on our list.

PEACE are our favorite bunch of psyche-rock musical wizards, we have been crushing hard on their music since their Delicious EP, we even declared our love and had a Best 5 of PEACE. Watch the video below and see why.
