The Japanese House is 19-year-old singer-songwriter Amber Bain from London and she is filled with pure talent. Her Pools to Bathe In EP was a big hit out in the music world. She, Matthew Healy, and George Daniel (of The 1975) produced it together and are back at it again with her latest, Clean. The Clean EP is said to come out on November 6th, 2015 via Dirty Hit Records and you can preorder that here. She told The Fader this in a recent email:
“Clean is an apology to a friend. It’s about the clean light a good person can shed on you once they forgive you, ridding you of your guilt and making you feel like a person too.”
A video was also released yesterday alongside the single and was filmed where she traveled this summer in Europe. The outstanding vocals paired with the artsy recording skills makes for one of the most talented music videos I’ve seen. Check it out below for yourself.
