The Psychomotors “By the Sea”

The Psychomotors are a bluesy, garage rock 5 piece from Manchester whose sole goal is to create music that will make you move, sing and leave your ears ringing.
Made up of the four rejected members of S Club 7 juniors who managed to escape, their inadequacy at being pop stars turned them to the dark side, where they have become masters of shifty riffs, soulful vocals, and brutal beats.
Their music is a testament to pushing a classic rock sound with a twist of the modern, with influences that include everything from Led Zeppelin, QOTSA, and The Eels.

Their debut EP Make Me has a TBA release date but we’ll be checking back on this Mancunian band, until then listen to their debut track By the Sea. It’s a mix of the seediness of QOTSA and throwback nostalgia of Led Zeppelin without being banal.

The most important thing to know about me is that I'm a melomaniac and shameless fangirl. I am addicted to concerts, they are my sanctuary and safe haven. When I'm on the front row on the barricade of a concert... I feel that I am truly home. I'm also a proud and happy vinyl crate-digger. Whether it's searching for vinyl at flea markets, garage sales, vintage shops... I am a sucker for the crackling of a good record when the needle drops on a turntable. I am a true Cancer with Moon in Cancer. Social Media: @youthquakermimi
