2016 has been eventful for The Strokes, which means good news for the fans. The first bit of exciting news was when The Strokes were signed to Julian Casablancas’ label Cult Records and then releasing their very first studio work five years, Future Present Past. As well as another epic return to Governor’s Ball and a secret boisterous show at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. They also debuted a new music video, performed at Australia’s Splendour in the Grass Festival, and most recently played a benefit concert in Los Angeles for charity this past Monday. Last night they appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform Threat of Joy. This marks The Strokes’ first televised performance in support of their new EP and their first ever since 2011.
