Album Stream: The Voyeurs ‘Rhubarb, Rhubarb’

We’ve had the Voyeurs on repeat for a while and now we have the album stream so you can listen to it, for the first time below.
Step back in time with the Lou Reed-esque sounds. Rhubarb Rhubarb will take you back to those notorious factory days with Andy Warhol at the helm of those art-punk days.

Frontman Charlie Boyer explains why the band used the phrase ‘rhubarb, rhubarb’ as the album title. “I was thinking of the idea of making noise but not really saying anything. The idea of “rhubarb, rhubarb” is unscripted background conversation in plays and on television. Today people are commenting on things all the time, commenting in new ways – Twitter and things. But a lot of it’s just more background, another kind of ‘rhubarb, rhubarb’.”

Melomaniac and shameless fangirl. I am addicted to concerts. They are my sanctuary and safe haven. When I'm on the front row and at barricade at a concert... I feel that I am truly home. I'm also a proud and happy crate-digger. Whether it's searching for vinyl at flea markets, garage sales, vintage shops... I am a sucker for the crackling of a good record when the needle drops on a turntable. Also, loves dogs and food. Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook: @youthquakermimi
