Trailer for ‘Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck’ Documentary Revealed

The critically acclaimed Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck doesn’t premiere on television until May 4th, but HBO has unveiled a two-and-a-half-minute trailer packed with snippets of never-before-seen home movies and family photos.

Frances Bean Cobain, along with Courtney Love, is an executive producer of the film. The documentary features “dozens of Nirvana songs and performances as well as previously unheard Cobain originals,” according to a press release. In addition to “no-holds-barred access to Kurt Cobain’s archives, home to his never-before-seen home movies, recordings, artwork, photography, journals, demos, personal archives, family archives and songbooks.

The documentary will also feature an unreleased 12-minute acoustic song by Kurt Cobain.
