Remember when The 1975 first came out.. Before they went all annoying to us. Their songs were catchy and good, we enjoyed listening to them right? Well maybe not all of us but most of us did. Well, I have recently found another band. One that reminds me of the catchiness of The 1975, with a bit of Peace, and Catfish and the Bottleman. I am talking about the 4 piece band from Leeds, Vitamin.
Their songs will get stuck in your head, ones that you can turn up full blast on your stereo and dance around to when you’re alone.
The band consists of Jared Laville-vocals and guitar, Cameron Frasier- guitar, Harrison Smith-Bass and backing vocals and Theo Cookson on drums.
In March, this young band released their debut track All We Know plus they made an appearance at Live at Leeds and BBC Introducing, so they have certainly been busy.
Their sound is a bit infectious, with shiny synths, pounding drums and some spiky guitar riffs, along with vocals that have just a bit of roughness to be considered sexy sounding. In other words, they have the things that will make them big.
Have a listen to their newest song, We Breathe Fire.
