12 Days Of Punk Pop Christmas Day 6: Blink 182 ” I Won’t Be Home For Christmas “

Any Punk pop list would not be complete without a song of some sort from Blink 182, so we were sure not to leave them off.

I Won’t Be Home For Christmas was actually written and released in 1997 as a radio promo and recorded with their original drummer Scott Raynor. The song is a parody of the traditional Christmas song I”ll Be Home For Christmas, and features someone snapping on Christmas Eve and attacking carolers. MCA Records released the song again as a single in 2001, this time crediting Travis Barker, who had since joined the band as the drummer on the song.
