Aaron Taos “Ill”

Aaron Taos’ influences are a random mix of indie rock and vintage pop with some hip hop mixed in. His forthcoming first EP, GUITS, finds its foundation in short catchy structures garnished with buoyant guitar notes and vocals that float with unique clarity amidst the rest of the track’s instrumentation. The new single off the forthcoming album is Ill. Taos explains the concept of the Tanaka Bros directed video as “the familiar mental daze that follows any post-breakup, an introspective place where most of us can’t be bothered with the outside world… it’s about not wanting to leave a certain state of space or time.”

Watch below.

GUITS is set to drop September 19th.

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
