The Young Renegades have come and gone as All Time Low reintroduces our favorite walking disasters with the new track “Some Kind of Disaster”. According to All Time Low‘s Facebook page:
“We took a step away for a minute- did some growing, did some soul searching, some healing… Now we’re back and ready to be all yours again, our battle scars worn proudly, and our hair looking better than ever. (it’s best if you just agree).
We’ve missed you all so much and we’re so excited for what comes next. Feels like we’ve been keeping secrets from you for way too long… Been hard to keep our mouths shut, honestly.
It’s a song and dance we’ve done a thousand times before, but this one feels extra-good. Besides, it’s never the same dance twice.
Hope you dig this new song as much as we do… After all, it’s all for you. ☀️”
As a huge All Time Low fan, I can proudly say this track was absolutely worth the break we all had to endure from the band.
The music video begins with frontman, Alex Gaskarth, asking for directions to a specific room. We are able to see that he is attending an emotional support group therapy session where we are able to view the different struggles everyone encounters.
The music video reminds me, personally, of the music video for “Weightless” as it includes commentary from the individuals attending the group therapy session.
“You gotta hurt sometimes to learn to heal”
With that being said, All Time Low has released three (3) tour dates set for Boston, New York, and (my favorite) Baltimore. Tickets go on sale today at 3 p.m. ET via http://alltimelow.com as the band said “Let’s get REALLY close each other”.
