Baker Graces shares Cautious Clay produced single “Up All Night”

19-year-old NYC singer/songwriter Baker Grace revels in self-reflection and demonstrates a deep understanding of the human condition that belies her youth. Her latest single “Up All Night” stirs with an emotional resonance as she tries to relate to someone different than herself. “Who am I judge the way you feel about the things I don’t know? Who am I judge the pain you caused when you were feeling so low?” Production by fellow NYC based artist Cautious Clay starts with a clear strung acoustic guitar and slowly grows to an expansive pop sound to fill your speakers.

“’Up All Night’ is about how too often we judge people or a group of people without getting the chance to know them,” Grace shares about the song. “Everybody has a story and I think it’s important to take the time to understand each other and become more compassionate, so we can learn, grow, and heal together.”

“Up All Night” comes on the heels of her singles “Pops” and “Bottle of Wine.” “Pops” is a heartfelt ode to the special relationship between fathers and daughters, while “Bottle Of Wine” is a song about the delicacy of the ego and how quickly our thoughts can turn negative in the absence of comfort and love. All three tracks appear on Grace’s forthcoming “Yourz Truly” EP, due August 28th. The EP will be available on limited edition 12″ Galaxy black and white vinyl..

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
