Brandon Calano, who performs under the moniker Becoming Young has released a new single titled The Night I Met You, and it may just be the new summer song you didn’t know you needed.
Produced by Sony/BMG producer, Austin Shawn, The Night I Met You took its inspiration from a Griz show at Red Rocks that Calano attended. It is a sweet escape to remind us of better days and is packed with nostalgia, poppy synths, and chill laid back vocals.
The Night I Met You reflects on the butterflies that come with a new crush. Simple times, when you’re just having fun and staying up too late thinking about a new person in your life. “I loved writing and recording this song because it’s nothing but positive vibes,” he said. “Since touring isn’t an option, I’m stoked to release an upbeat, feel-good song—we could all use a smile right now,” says Calano about the new single.
