Brighton post-punk prospects Thyla share visuals for searing new cut ‘Lenox Hill’

Brighton post-punk prospects Thyla continue their extraordinary rise with the visuals for searing new cut Lenox Hill, the second track taken from the band’s eagerly anticipated sophomore EP Everything at Once set for release 7th February.

Detailing their visuals, enigmatic frontwoman Millie Duthie revealed: “The urge to put Lenox Hill to video was too strong to ignore so we decided to try and shoot something essentially for free. We bought a gimbal stabilizer off amazon and used Danny’s iPhone to shoot the whole thing, turns out all you need is some outfits, a willingness to look a bit silly to passers-by and a whole load of patience for editing in iMovie and you’ve got yourself a music video! We had a lot of fun making it and we hope it sheds some light on the song and how it makes us feel.”

The indie juggernauts have had a formidable 2019 on the road supporting Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, in addition to capacity shows at The Great Escape, Live At Leeds and Hit The North, and having just completed their first full-length UK tour, plans are already taking shape for a hometown EP release party early next year.

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
