Canadian singer-songwriter Delaney Jane has unveiled her new single ‘Want You Now’, out via Dirty Pretty Things / AWAL.
A shimmering pop track with a retro aesthetic, ‘Want You Now’ sees Delaney continue with her recent shift in creative direction, with the Toronto-born artist delivering a modern take on the classic 80s synth-pop sound. It follows July single ‘Somewhere Else’, with both tracks set to feature on her forthcoming six-track EP due for release this fall.
For this next chapter, Delaney has enlisted incredible artist and creative director Pilar Zeta, who has been responsible for creating defining moments in visual art and music, including art direction for Coldplay. She’s also working with producer Shaun Frank who co-wrote The Chainsmokers colossal chart-topping single ‘Closer’.
