Hannah Campbell ” East Coast Dream “

Hannah Campbell is a warm, discerning, and joyfully vulnerable storyteller recently moved to the Gold Coast from Melbourne. Her songwriting echoes of folky roots through stories of failings and hopefulness, desire, emotional vacancy, and unspoken truths. New single East Coast Dream describes freedom, being out of reception, waking up to the sunrise, and falling in love with simple pleasures. It is a dreamy sunny song that will soundtrack your summer road trip, so grab your keys and your friends and turn the music up.

Meija ” Buttons “

Meija is the new project of songwriter/producer Jamie Sierota. After leaving his role as the principal songwriter of Echosmith, Sierota decided to take a step back from his life of touring to go back home to Los Angeles and do what he loves most – write songs and experiment with production. Sierota has spent the last four years lending his skills to projects including Your SmithBay LedgesQuinn XCII, and Adam Lambert’s latest single “New Eyes”, and crafting the first Meija tunes in between. New single Buttons opens with retro-wave synths and hushed vocals before opening into an anthemic chorus, it is playful and energetic and just the song we needed for the weekend

Plaid Dracula ” No Reaction “

Plaid Dracula is a glam-punk power trio based out of Brooklyn, New York. Sweating heavy licks and glitter. They have just released a new single titled No Reaction, which is about “questioning the foundation of a relationship that’s become very important to you without you even realizing it was happening.” It is fun and spikey and needs to be played loudly.

Sad Boys Club ” Mirror and Me “

London’s indie-pop band, Sad Boys Club, have released their latest track, ‘Mirror & Me’ The single deals with body-image anxiety and is an angry and deeply personal, yet sometimes humorous, expression of the difficulties faced by lead singer, Jacob Wheldon, in the past. It is an honest look at self-esteem and self-image and is a subject that is greatly needed in this selfie, perfection times.

About Teri (1689 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
