Mike Liegel ” Baddest Behavior “

New Jersey singer/songwriter and musician Mike Liegel goes looking for a bit of bad behavior in a lover in his new release Baddest Behavior and we are totally addicted to the bouncy indie-pop song. We love the thumping bass that plays throughout, and the smooth vocals of Liegel. Put this one on your playlist, you’ll turn to it often.

the fire & fury ” Radicals “

the fire & fury are rising up against the unjust of the world today in new single Radicals. The Post- Hardcore tune has driving guitar lines, drum beats you feel and angry vocals that highlight the tune and get you fired up. The band had this to say about Radicals This song is about embracing the label of ‘Radical’; a term that is often used to attack activists/artists/politicians that push progressive policies that aim to help the poor & working class. Historically, only people who were labeled ‘radicals’ have changed this country for the better. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Susan B Anthony, FDR, and many others were radicals in their own right. They all fought for huge, necessary systemic changes. The song is basically saying, “Go ahead. Call us radicals. We’ll keep fighting for change.”

SYML ” Meant To Stay Hid “

Seattle artist and producer SYML releases “Meant To Stay Hid,” the follow up single to his self-titled debut album that was released in May. When asked about the meaning behind Meant to Stay Hid SYML had this to say: Meant To Stay Hid’ is a personal song about loss. It’s that tangible and uncomfortable whole-body feeling that someone is gone. It’s the reality that our memory of them will fade and changeSYML highlights the song with a soft haunting background of instrumentation and emotion-filled vocals.

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
