Four For Friday featuring new music by BAD, The Backstops, Amtrac, and Arson Daily

Bad ” Dirty Laundry “

NYC based duo Bad has dropped a new infectious single titled Dirty Laundry, which is a playful take on airing out your deepest secrets in a relationship. Dirty Laundry is big on layered production, providing us with a danceable pop feel along with unexpected horns and some silky soothe vocals. This is the perfect Friday night song, even if we are just getting dressed up and hanging out at home.

The Backdrops ” Dutches “

South Philly piano punk band The Backstops have released a video for their debut single Dutches, which the band calls a ballad of a lonely stoner. The song is driven by artful piano playing, a few well-placed horns, and fluid vocals. The accompanying video is simple, two guys in a dimly lit alley. While we didn’t hear any punk vibes from the song, we felt the punk attitude in the music of The Backstops, doing the unexpected and doing music the way they want it.

Amtrac ” Stratego “

Today marks the day of the release of LA-based Amtrac’s new album Oddyssey, and recently he dropped his newest single, Stratego, from the album. The single is a dance-ready tune that is full of driving drums and catchy lyrics.

Arson Daily ” Glasshouse “

Arson Daily has released a new single Glasshouse. The single is an indie banger with touches of psych weaved in. Plenty of fuzzy guitars and heavy bass lines, along with vocals that are unique and stylish that lightly take on falling out with friends and fragility within tense interpersonal relationships. Glasshouse is the 7th single of the bands debut album titled Late Reflections.

About Teri (2416 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
