Four For Friday Featuring New Music By: South Of France, Twinkids, Tents, and The High Loves

South Of France ” Comme Ca “

“Comme Ça” is the lead single from Denver-based indie-pop project South Of France’s sophomore LP, Remember That Cool Thing We Did, due out early 2020. “Comme Ça” is french for “so-so” or “just ok” – a fitting title for a track about the blasé life of mediocrity that most of us live no matter how hard we try to portray otherwise. The song is a fun bop that is light and vivacious and perfect for your coming weekend.

Twinkids ” Eighteen “

TWINKIDS have returned with their first single of 2019, “Eighteen.” The mid-tempo synth-dance-pop single nods to the ’80s as it shimmers soars, and pulls at the heartstrings, culminating in a triumphant coda with wild, detuned synths and imploring vocals.

Tents ” Hutah!”

New single Hutah! by Portland-based Indie Band Tents deals with body positivity and the beauty of life. The single is an uplifting and airy masterpiece of Indie rock, that will quickly stick into your mind and not leave.

The High Loves ” Tried To Hard “

We felt a lot of nostalgia when we first listened to the new single ” Tried Too Hard ‘ by Toronto indie band The High Loves. The addicting jangly song harkened back to simpler days in music when it was just some guys singing about love, no fancy autotunes, or instruments, just the basics, and it was the most perfect feeling.

About Teri (2542 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
