Brighton’s indie talent pool shows no signs of drying up anytime soon if HANYA has any say in the matter.
Emerging as the latest band from the city’s thriving music scene, the dreamy quartet share tender lead single Dream Wife, taken from forthcoming EP Sea Shoes set for release early next year.
Headed by enigmatic frontwoman Heather Sheret, the band’s heady concoction of 90s-Esque dream pop and shoegaze extravaganza has already conjured up early online acclaim alongside stellar supports with Honeyblood, Lazy Day and Tess Parks, and with their first trip Stateside for New Colossus Festival already lined up for 2020, the group’s profile looks set to grow further.
Discussing their forthcoming release, the four-piece explained:
