Lapyear release debut EP Smile

London four-piece band Lapyear released their debut EP Smile via Venn Records on Friday. The band is noted for having a wide range of influences that they perfectly craft into a unique and exciting sound.

Taking inspiration from earlier grunge, alternative, and brit-pop
artists, this new release also sees the incorporation of DIY-emo/punk influences. This cross combination of such vast influences makes for something truly original.

The previously released singles from the EP, “Under My Tongue” and “Negative (I Wish I Was)” have already garnered much press and radio, including plays on Triple J, Kerrang!
Radio and more.

About Teri (2389 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
