Listen to Lana Del Rey’s New Song, “Coachella – Woodstock in My Mind”

Lana Del Rey teased Instagram with a new song last month, the a cappella snippet detailed the song’s semi-political inspiration, writing, “I had complex feelings about spending the weekend dancing whilst watching tensions w North Korea mount. The track is called Coachella – Woodstock in My Mind, it’s a minimal electro pop, the singer sings that she would “trade the fame and the fortune and the legend” to understand the world’s injustice with lyrics like “I guess I was in it ’cause, baby, for a minute/ It was Woodstock in my mind.” and “What about all these children?/ And what about all their parents?/ And what about all their crowns they wear in hair so long like mine?” Listen to it below.

No word if the new track will be featured on Del Rey’s upcoming fifth studio album, Lust for Life out on May 26th.
