New Music Monday Featuring: badhead hyland, Cullen Omori, Westerman,& Cheap Thrills

badhead hyland ” Lad Culture Makes Me Want To Die “

bedhead hyland is just one of the many artists speaking out on mental health, an issue that has been in the closet for way too long. After losing a male family member and a male friend to suicide within a space of two months, he came up with the idea of the song, Lad Culture Makes Me Want To Die. It deals with prevalent lad culture in society and how males are conditioned to not speak openly about mental health struggles they may be experiencing.

Cullen Omori ” A Real You “
Omori’s newest release, A Real You, is the closing song of his forthcoming album The Diet which drops August 17th via Sub Pop. The single is a shimmery, fizzy 70’s throwback that will make any pop music lover fall in love.
Westerman ” Easy Money “
With a new EP due out sometime this fall, and then a full album next year, Westerman will be filling everyone’s playlists, especially if he keeps making music like his latest single Easy Money. The tune is sexy and slinky, the perfect soundtrack for a weekend night of dancing.
Cheap Thrills ” Accident Prone “
Liverpool’s Cheap Thrills give us a blistering second single with Accident Prone. Full of enough guitars and drums for the rock and roll lover, but tinged with all types of psych feels.

About Teri (2597 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
