Home By July ” Hate This Town “

Home By July’s newest single Hate This Town is an ode to every pop punk kid out there who bemoans his hometown, and if you know pop punk kids, you know this is their war cry! Like many of our favorite pop-punk bands that preceded them, the anthem is full of jangly guitar licks, powerful drums, and lyrics that we can sing along with. Hate This Town is the first single off Home By July’s upcoming debut Ep that is slated for later this year. We are loving it!!!!!

 

Welshly Arms ” Learn To Let Go “

Cleveland six-piece Welshly Arms have unveiled their new single “Learn To Let Go” The punchy rock song follows their 2018 debut album No Place Is Home. On Learn To Let Go frontman Sam Getz’s gravely voice takes center stage, nicely backed up by a finely- calibrated flow of fluid guitars and banging drums.
 

Alter ” 2Much “

 Singer Songwriter Steven Trueba aka Alter has released a new single 2Much. Consisting of moody textures and melancholy musical vibes. The song is smooth and fluid and the beat will have you swaying long after listening.
 

Andrew Goldring ” Coal Harbour ( Brand New Life )”

Full of moody verses, the newest single by Andrew Goldring, Coal Harbour ( Brand New Life ) is smooth and lush, with nods to Tame Impala and Manchester Orchestra. Be on the look out for Goldring’s debut album  Fluorescent Memories which  is due Feb. 8th, 2019.
 

Planet Case ” Chemical “

Chemical, the newest song by Planet Case is a new direction for the Finnish band. It tells the story of the 
compromises that you have to make with your dearest ones to be able to make music and travel hundreds of miles. Despite it’s subject Planet Case has managed to keep the Chemical bright and bubbly and loads of fun.
 

Former Faces ” Colorful Anger “

Calling their newest single Colorful Anger a ghost funk song, Former Faces have written about outgrowing jealousy and envy en route to finding love, a very relatable subject to all of us! Colorful Anger is the third  single from their forthcoming EP ‘Open The Gates’. The song features a kick ass guitar solo and mid beats that are true to the psych side of the song, but ad a funky 70’s soulful feel to them.
 

Phantom Vibrations  ” C’est La Vie “

David Amezcua, the former member of Awolnation has released his second single, C’est La Vie, under the moniker of Phantom Vibrations. C’est La Vie is a fresh feel good song that is addicting and catchy.
 

Toledo ” Que Pasa?”

Que Pasa? was written about Dan Alverez’s dad and their relationship. Dan Alverez is part of the band Toledo, who forms the band with Jordan Dunn-Pilz. Que Pasa is a slow simmering beauty that includes soft  melancoly vocals that almost seem effortless and are back with soft barely noticable instrumentation that give the vocals front row status.
