New Music Monday featuring music by Cassia, Real Fake Doors, Kellen of Troy, an Elektric Animals

Cassia ” Do Right “

Manchester’s Cassia has unleashed their new single Do Right, which is their first of 2020, and also the first since they released their debut album. The single is a slow jam with hints of electro-pop scattered through-out the jangly indie sound. Put this on your playlist and get your body swaying to the almost tropical feel.

Real Doors ” Waiting “

Forming in 2018, Erie PA’s Real Fake Doors have already begun taking the region by storm; playing multiple sold-out shows, and sharing the stage with international names like Trashboat, Anti-Flag, & Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Now they are ready to take on 2020 with their newest single Waiting. The single starts slow before bursting into the chorus with a bit of screamo worked in. Keep an eye on these guys, they are bringing their version of pop-punk/post Hardcore to the forefront.

Kellen Of Troy ” Everyone Loves You When Your Dead “

Kellen of Troy, which is the moniker of singer-songwriter Kellen Wenrich has released a truthful and charming tale with a new single Everyone Loves You When Your Dead. The single is from his Vanity Project album, which he says is a tongue-in-cheek focus on his personal battles. If you are a fan of Father John Misty and lighthearted sadness you will love Kellen Wenrich, who brings some great instrumentation ( he plays the guitar, bass, piano, and violin himself ) along with his layabout vocals.

Elektric Animals ” Guillotine “

Four-piece indie-rock band from Denver Elektric Animals have released a new single Guillotine. An electrifying intro leads into some classic Nah Nah Nahs ( you know we all love those ) and continues to an anthemic rock song. It is large and loud, and we are hooked.

About Teri (2738 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
