Talk Time ” Colors “

Created in a warehouse in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of East Los Angeles, California, Talk Time channeled their love for catchy, experimental pop music and made it their own. Their third and newest single Colors celebrates all the choices we make in life, the sort of decisions that you really own and end up ringing true and feel authentic to you.

The song is a breezy pop tune that hits all the right notes with the throbbing electronics and clean vocals, making it highly danceable and infectious.

Tribe Friday ” Badger “

Following up February’s release Thank God!Tribe Friday have released their newest single Badger. Sounding much like early Kooks, my favorite band BTW, the Swedish band had managed to inject their music with a very British sound, full of jangly guitars, and even a bit of an accent.  Badger is a fast paced 3-minute track about seeking attention or approval from others as a substitute for something your missing.

Leisure Club ” Forever “

Forever is the first 2019 release for Canada’s Leisure Club and it takes on the theme of a representation of a person’s relationship with addiction. Be it an addiction to a substance or a person once present, it’s something that is carried for the rest of one’s life. The song is an electro-pop slice of warm instrumentation and striking dreamy vocals. Forever was engineered and produced by Ryan Worsley at Echoplant Studios and available on all streaming platforms.

ShadowHood ” Wine and Spirits “

ShadowHood says their newest single ” Wine And Spirits “ a song for a party. The breezy single combines lush vocals, beautiful harmonies, shiny synths, and even a few soft whistles. ShadowHood is a pioneer in the creation of Conscious Music. In which a song is a story, and has deeper meanings than just music itself. Created by conscious minds and performed by creative artists.

Freddie Future ” Too Heavy “

Canada’s Freddie Future gets ” heavy ” on the beats with his new single Too Heavy. The single is taken from his debut album and is infectious and uplifting, it is catchy, it is danceable and it is perfect indie electro pop.

Civiliana ” Carry A Light “

Canadian four-piece alt-rock band, Civiliana has released their latest single titled Carry A Light. It begins with drums that hook you into the indie rock sound instantly. Throbbing guitar hooks are layered with a few unexpected electronics. Calen Trentini’s vocals are both brooding and sexy, giving Carry A Light an unexpected dark undertone.

The Sweet Kill ” War “

Multi-instrumentalist and producer Pete Mills who goes by Sweet Kill has just released a new song titled War. Like many songs written recently, War deals with addiction and how ” Moving from one hit/drink to the next there is no regard for anything or anyone else even one’s own self. “ The song is rich in layered sounds that are dark and infectious, with pounding electronics and one hell of a guitar solo. War is the lead song from Sweet Kill’s upcoming Love & Death EP

You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
