wojtek the bear ” some states “

Glasgow’s wojtek the bear is back with a new single titled some states. The single is the last of the band’s quartet of singles released during 2019, which are now all available on a limited edition 12” vinyl, old names for new shapes. We love the quiet emotional feel of the band’s vocals in some states, that seem to float effortlessly over the soft instrumentation of guitars and strings and bearly there drumbeats.

Jemma Siles ” out of my head “

Melbourne based singer-songwriter Jemma Siles has released a new single, out of my head. The electronic-based tune deals with the isolation in your mind when you need others to help extract your negative thought surrounding yourself. Along with the song Siles also released an article and video that talks about the prevalence of mental health in our society and how we can individually help or seek help when in need.

Frank Mighty’s Hotline ” Intertwined “

Frank Mighty’s Hotline started out as a bedroom project for John Traboulsi, and Intertwined is his first single. Traboulsi’s soulful vocals are the highlight of the tune, that was inspired when he overheard two people openly speaking about sex and life without worrying if anyone around them heard it

Tim Ayre ” Barcelona “

Taken from Tim Ayre’s recently released self-titled debut EP, Barcelona is giving us all the breezy summer feels we are missing. His warm vocals soar over the mellow synths and dreamy instrument production, giving Barcelona a hazy psych feel we can’t help but sway our bodies to.

About Teri (1872 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
