Royal Prospect ” Young Heart “

Four peace Swedish rock band, Royal Prospect have released a new single Young Heart. The single is full of infectious guitars, rhythmic drums, and lyrics that are fun and easy to sing along with.  Young Heat is about igniting your inner self from the coals of your former self, to live with passion and purpose.

Lapp ” Ride “

London-based alt-R&B singer-songwriter LAPP has released a new single titled Ride. When speaking about his new single he said: ‘‘Ride’ is about two killers who kill for reasons unknown. The man justifies their actions by wanting to leave their malevolent life behind to find some kind of peace, whilst the woman has become numbed by the actions they have taken. She questions the reasons why her victims fight to stay alive, why she doesn’t share the same fight as them to live on and why herself and her partner have not been punished for the things they have done. As they ride across the country to find solace, their destination becomes ever so clearer.”

The song is a slow burner, Lapp’s vocals are raw and flawless as he makes his way through the song, which at times feels heartbreaking for the subject.

Jacob Neverhill ” Gold “

Jacob Neverhill is carving a name for himself with his ability to craft ethereal vocal melodies and atmospheric pop. HIs newest single Gold is soft and romantic, Neverhill’s voice is the main focus for the song, it is flawless and breathtaking, while the instrumentation plays softly in the background not overpowering it. This is a song to get romantic to.

Watercolours ” Habits ( Stay High )

Drawing influence from bands such as Foals, Beach House, Real Estate and Wild Beasts, Cheltenham’s Watercolours mix psychedelia with ambient indie rock and trip-hop bass lines to make their songs stand out. Their newest single Habits ( stay high ) which is a cover of a Tove Lo song is comprised of smooth as silk vocals, fuzzed out guitars and shimmering synths. The accompanying video is a studio live feed that gives us a glimpse into their performances.

About Teri (2994 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
