New Video Releases Featuring: wojtek the bear, The Vices, Sights & Sounds, and Basement Revolver

wojtek the bear ” slow tv “

Hailing from Glasgow, wojtek the bear has released a new single slow TV. The single is the fourth to be released by the band this year and will appear on the limited edition 10” vinyl, old names for new shapes, in November 2019. Inspired by past relationships, especially those ones where at their close you no longer have a connection to the other person, the song has a breezy relaxed feel that we are loving. The video is a perfect rendition of the song done in drawings and red paint.

The Vices ” Life Grows “

Dutch band The Vices, dropped Life Grows recently along with an accompanying video, it is the title track of their upcoming Ep releasing this Friday ( Sept 20 ) The song is classic Indie with fast drums and fun guitars. The song has a happy feel but examines life in the city and how uncertain it can be. The video follows suit, showcasing a night out with the band. Not going to lie, the vocals gave me hints of early Arctic Monkeys.

Sights & Sounds ” Resurface “

Back with another new single from Post Hardcore band Sights & Sounds. Resurface is a bit softer than the previous single we covered and showcases the band’s talent on moving from one type of song to the next. This is the lead single from their album No Virtue. The accompanying video gives us a look at the band in action performing the song.

Basement Revolver ” Wax and Digital “

Canadian dream-pop band Basement Revolver has dropped a new single Wax and Digital, which is the title track from their 6 track EP. Wax and Digital is full of lovely guitar riffs and soft drumming that highlight Chrisy Hurn’s dreamy vocals. And speaking of dreamy, the accompanying video with the soft colors and bokeh it’s just perfect.

Chrisy Hurn’s wistful, longing lyrics.

About Teri (2510 Articles)
You can usually find me traveling, queuing, or at barricade for a band. I am most likely doing all three things in a day. If I'm not at a concert you can also find me digging through crates for that coveted black disc of vinyl.
